Growing up as a missionary kid in the Philippines is an experience that is like none other; one that uniquely prepared me for a rewarding professional career. It left me with my worldview broadened, my appreciation of other cultures heightened, and a desire to understand others. I studied at Columbia International University with the focus in Intercultural Studies as a result, with the intentions of growing into new environments and learning to connect with and appreciate the stories of new people from all around the world. This has carried over into my professional career in the financial world, first in taxes and now in financial advisory, as learning the stories of people in order to learn how to serve their best financial interests has become the foundation of my career.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband, cheering on the Gamecocks, being active in my church family at First Presbyterian Church, and growing my relationships with friends and family.
